StoryWalk with Nora

Spend some time reading with and getting to know Nora, the Tavares Police Department’s friendly Therapy Dog! Nora is a Mexican Hairless (Xoloitzcuintli) who loves meeting new people, especially young readers. This special program encourages children to practice their reading skills in a calm, supportive environment while bonding with a gentle and affectionate dog. Come relax, read aloud, and enjoy some furry (or in Nora’s case, not-so-furry!) companionship.
