Early Childhood Outdoor Pop-In Storytime and Craft (Weather Permitting)

This event is all about Exploring Our ABC's and 123's. We will begin by reading the story "Chicka Chicka ABC" Written by: Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault. Afterwards we will practice our letters with the classic "Alphabet" song. We will also be reading the story "Chicka Chicka 123" Written by: Bill Martin Jr. and Michael Sampson, as well as counting to 20 with the song "Let's Count to 20". We will be making a Dot Picture for our Art Experience, just like the pictures in the books.
As always, we will have some amazing Featured Books from the East Lake Library, that are available for checkout to continue reading at home.

The Outdoor Pop-In Storytime and Craft Events for Early Childhood takes place on Tuesdays between the times of 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Please "pop-in" during these times when it is convenient for you. The story, craft, and any other activities tend to run around 20 minutes maximum. These events are geared towards ages 1-5.
The event takes place under the awning at the front of the building by the Check Out Window. We have a new story and craft event every two weeks.
We often work with paint, markers, and glue. Please keep in mind that these materials may end up on clothing.
IMPORTANT: Due to maximum occupancy limits in our current location, these events cannot be held or moved inside due to bad weather. If at any point, there is any sort of inclement weather (such as rain, lighting, high winds, extreme heat) the event must be cancelled, even if it is already in progress. Please feel free to give us a call on the day of the event at (352) 383-9980 between 9:00 AM-12:00 PM to find out the updated status of the event- including the weather and if there are any changes to the times. We appreciate everyone's understanding, as the weather in Florida can be especially unpredictable.
