500 Books Before Middle School
Tavares Public Library - Library Main Floor

500 Books Before Middle School is a program created by the Tavares Public Library. Participants select their own books and read at their own pace. Reading can be tracked with either Beanstack, the Lake County Library System's reading app, or with paper logs available at the Tavares Public Library. Upon completion, children receive a personalized medal and a Certificate of Achievement. If participating through Beanstack, readers will obtain virtual badges as they progress in addition to the personalized medal and paper certificate upon completion.
