1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a national early literacy initiative that encourages families to read 1,000 books with their children before they enter kindergarten. Families choose the books they want to read, and children earn rewards as they reach reading milestones. Each participant receives a Reading Folder with Reading Logs to track their progress. Visit the Tavares Public Library to get started.
