Bone Mizell and the Florida Cracker Cowmen
W.T. Bland Public Library (Mount Dora) - Community Room
In-PersonAdults are invited to hear professional storyteller Walt Belcher unravel the legend of Morgan Bonaparte Mizell, “Bone Mizell,” the fun-loving Florida cow hunter who could “outride, out rope, outshoot and outdrink” any cowman in the state back in late 1800s when there were no fences to contain the thousands of cattle that roamed the scrublands. No registration required.
