Hand and Foot is a strategic card game that's similiar to rummy and is often played in teams of two or more.  the goal is to get rid of all the cards in your hand and foot by making melds, which are sets of 3-7 cards of the same rank placed faced up.  Melds can include deuces and jokers, but not red or black threes.  Once a meld of three or more cards is started, more cards can be added until the pile has seven cards, which is called a closed pile or book.  Books belong to the team, not indivivdual players.
